Exfoliate lips gently and hydrate well in the days leading up to your session. Cold sore prone? Lip blush can trigger outbreaks. You must take antiviral medication (like acyclovir) at least 2 days before and 3–5 days after your appointment to prevent a flare-up, even if you haven’t had one in a while. What to Expect Treatment time is approx. 2.5 hours, including consultation, colour selection, and mapping. Pigment is gently deposited using a digital machine for a soft finish. Your lips will look more vibrant for the first few days, then soften during the healing process. Peeling may occur around days 3–5. Full healing takes 4–6 weeks. Your complimentary top-up is booked 6–12 weeks post-treatment to refine and perfect the result. Who Is Not Suitable? Lip Blush is not recommended if you’re pregnant, breastfeeding, on blood thinners, or have active skin conditions around the mouth. Cold sore sufferers must take precautions as above. Previous Lip Blush or Filler? Please send a clear photo of your lips if you've had previous lip blush or recent filler. This helps assess if treatment is suitable and when it’s safe to proceed.
